In this technology, which is still used today in Inkjet Printers, the ink is heated rapidly until a bubble, with a very thin shin, is formed and forced through a miniscule hole in the printhead. It comes into contact with the paper and cools instantly to form a single dot of ink.All the dots are joined up to form a letter, number or illustration..
